Roydon Mill is easily found from the A1/A10/M11/M25 and is, quite simply, unique. In a rural waterside setting, the picturesque approach alongside the canal and weir in view of the original old Mill building sets a perfect scene and there is also a 32 acre lake.

The Horse and Barge nestles between the villages of Harefield and Denham. It's surrounded by scenic countryside, and The Grand Union Canal flows along at the bottom of its huge beer garden. This is a pub for all seasons, with open log fires to keep you cosy in the winter. And in the summer, there's the large garden to enjoy with decking areas overlooking the picturesque canal and narrowboats. We'll have sole use of The Horse & Barge for our party nights. There are TWO BARS with competitive prices, a huge dance floor, cosy seating areas and masses of car parking.
By car, the pub is only 5 minutes' drive from Junction 1 of the M40 and about a 10 minute drive from other local towns: Uxbridge, Ickenham, Rickmansworth, Northwood and Ruislip. The Horse & Barge is only about 7 minutes' walk from Denham station and, should you need it, the 331 bus stops right outside. And if you're coming on your boat, you can moor up outside the pub! Or at Harefield Marina which has over 250 mooring spaces.
