Sort Code: 30-64-37. Account number: 42788360 and put the venue & date as the reference. Your name will come up on the payment and we will then add you to the prepaid list.

– The discounted rate is £8 until Wednesday

– Should you wish to book for a party that is not happening this Friday, then please make sure you put the venue and the date of the party as the reference so that we can ensure that we add you the correct prepaid list.

Although we are called Dance Parties, we are mainly a Social Club to connect with like minded people of a similar age and you do not have to dance! 

Whether you’re single, a couple or a group, you’ll find a warm and friendly welcome.

Our DJs play a great variety of music from ’80s to date, Club Classics, Soul, RnB, Reggae etc. and there are always lots of new people to meet.

We are a members only club which means that you have to be a member if you wish to attend our events.  You can however pre-book the entrance to an event online (saving yourself £2) but you’ll need to join with our reception staff on arrival and you will be given a membership card as joining cannot be done online. The good news is that membership is only £5 for a year and this will allow you to attend any of our events.  We have several different venues around the home counties.

Bushey Metropolitan Club- December 2025

Dear organisers,

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed last night’s Christmas party at the Bushey Metropolitan Club in Hertfordshire. The new DJ was fantastic! He was taking requests all night and even had a table with all the slips laid out. The music was a huge variety, from Latin to Disco to Pop, and even Rick Astley! Everyone was having a really great time dancing to well-known hits from the past and some more current ones.

In all the years I have attended these events, this was the first time I heard such a fun, uplifting mix that genuinely got everyone moving.

It was great to hear music that really made people want to dance, songs that many of us grew up, like Abba or Wham, alongside other popular fun tracks.

The night was really special and memorable. Thank you for hosting these events and giving everyone such a fun night out!

14.12.2024 – The Manor Elstree

Dear Brian

I am a regular at all different venues of your parties and just wanted to email you to say I attended your Christmas party at the manor Elstree yesterday. Pre Purchase tickets . I have seen that this was your last event after the launch party as it says the venue was too small. Yes, the room used was a small room but it was very cosy and intimate and the vibe and atmosphere and DJ was brilliant. The venue in itself was stunning. Such a shame this was your last event at this Venue. Everybody seemed to have a great time and as stated the room was small but was still busy and had a lovely atmosphere . Hope maybe in the future the venue will be used again .

Looking forward to my next party I’m attending in bushey radlett on Friday 27th December.

Well i have just got home from a very enjoyable evening at the Russ club Romford, when we arrived i was surprised to see a mature lady as the evening DJ, but she was excellent . she played the long version of the records and the over lap from one record to another was done very subtle, she also read the dance floor as to what type of music people were dancing to.
We look forward to another enjoyable evening at The Russ Club with this lady DJ.

Just a quick line to say “Thank you”, if you hadn’t existed my fate may not have been as wonderful as life now seems…..

In the 2 years I’ve been a member, I made lots of really lovely friends and have met loads of interesting people.  And where have I been hiding?  Well, back in July, at the Wheatheaf in Basingstoke, Cupids arrow finally pierced my heart.  After a whirlwind romance, Peter and I got married in Orlando, Florida, on January 13th.

So my message to everyone is don’t give up hope you’ll know the right one when you meet, I did.  Love does find a way.

Denham – Sep 1994

Dear Brian and Gill

Just to say how much I really enjoyed the Disco Dance at Denham last Saturday evening.  It was a really terrific setting with a very large dance floor and a lot of people there were impressed with the setting.

The two lady disc jockeys were very good and were pleased to play requests music if they could fit it in, their pleasant manner made for a really lovely evening.

All in all – a really pleasant evening all round and the bar staff were good, pleasant to talk to and very quick at serving.

I do hope that there will be more dances there – and I shall certainly tell members I see that they will have a terrific evening there if they go to the next one.  I certainly shall.

Shillingford Bridge Hotel New Year’s Eve Party 2021

Hi Brian

I would like to thank you, Gill and the team for organising the New Year’s Eve event at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel.

  • It was a lovely hotel to stay in such scenic surroundings
  • The food there was good
  • Very friendly staff there
  • And a brilliant DJ in the evening

Needless to say I had an excellent time… from what I can remember!

I realise it must have been extremely difficult to rearrange such a big event (including all the hotel bookings) at short notice after what happened at the Kings Hotel, so it was very much appreciated.

I certainly won’t be disappointed if that’s the venue for the next New Year’s Eve party!
