Everyone agrees this is a superb party venue! Set in 12 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, Ye Olde Plough House is situated in the village of Bulphan, between Basildon and Brentwood, with easy access from the M25, A127 and A13.
Our parties are held in The Monks Barn which has a fantastic atmosphere and has been home to many glorious occasions. The views of the beautifully landscaped gardens enhance the beauty of the barn.

Welcome back to Theydon Bois Golf Club, nestled in the heart of the historical Epping Forest and just a few minutes’ drive from the M25 (jct 27).
We are back here again following popular demand after one of our members who is also a member of Theydon Bois Golf Club recommended our events to the new catering management at this venue.
We know most of our members like this venue and enjoyed many parties here and we are happy to restart our Friday night parties at Theydon Bois. The function suite has a large dance floor and a terrace overlooking the beautiful lanscaped grounds with tables and chairs to chill and have a talk in the summer evenings. Drinks prices here are competitive and there is plenty of free parking onsite.
